How to get to Mount Gahinga Lodge

Mount Gahinga Lodge is found near Kisoro Town just on the edge of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. It is accessible by road or by air. By road, visitors on Uganda gorilla safari can begin their journey from Entebbe/Kampala through Masaka-Mbarara-Kisoro then connect to Mount Gahinga Lodge.

Driving from Entebbe/Kampala to this lodge may take you about 8-10 hours and includes a stopover en-route at Uganda Equator crossing. If you are traveling from Kigali, it will involve border crossing through Katuna/Chanika border then connect to Kabale/Kisoro Town then you connect to Mount Gahinga Lodge.
